My third app was developed, once again while COVID restrictions were still in place. Around that time, bars started replacing paper menus with QR codes. Even though most phones could scan QR codes directly from the camera app, many people either didn’t know that or preferred to save their scans for later.
That’s exactly what I built the app for. It was a great opportunity to start experimenting with actual hardware, capturing an image and processing it. My dad still uses it today.
