Acciona (BMAD: ANA.MC), is a Spanish multinational conglomerate dedicated to the development and management of infrastructure (construction, water, industrial and services) and renewable energy. The company is listed in the IBEX 35 index and is a national industry benchmark.
I joined as an intern as part of the company’s scholarship program, which was granted to a selection of Spanish students. I worked for the Mobility division, which operates the world’s largest shared motorbike network, according to the company in 2020.
I mainly helped the Marketing team at querying, cleaning and presenting data so they could make informed decisions. This often involved leveraging Python’s SQLAlchemy and Pandas, and then using an external tool such as Excel or Power BI to visualize the data.
As part of my university program, I also completed my end-of-degree dissertation, which analyzed potential zones of constrained demand for motorbikes in the city of Barcelona, earning a grade of 9 out of 10.
