No reverse engineering this time. Just some good news.

qrew, my QR food ordering SaaS for restaurants, has been selected for Web Summit’s ALPHA Startup Program.

Web Summit is one of the world’s largest technology conferences, bringing together startups, investors, tech companies, and entrepreneurs. Last year, it gathered over 70,000 attendees from over 150 countries.

ALPHA is Web Summit’s programme for early-stage startups, offering visibility and opportunities to connect with investors and potential partners.

More than 22,000 startups applied across Web Summit’s startup programmes last year, and just over 2,700 were accepted. That’s roughly a 12% acceptance rate.

A few months ago, qrew was just an idea I brought back from a trip to China, where QR ordering is simply how lunch works. Today it’s a product with a pilot program open to restaurants.

I never imagined this could happen when I started building qrew. It’s crazy where a single idea can take you.

🍙 If you’re a restaurant, apply to qrew’s pilot program at https://getqrew.com! It’s okay if you offer Hawaiian pizza, really.

🫵 If you’re a builder, keep going!
