I’m Víctor Pérez, Technical Account Manager at RevenueCat.
A mobile entrepreneur who loves high-end technology and selling great products, I’ve taken my projects from my bedroom to the main stage of a congress in Paris, and even into Google Play’s top charts. The secret is simple: endless curiosity, great customer service, and a relentless desire to keep learning.
Technology can be hard, but it’s also fun. And what’s life without a bit of fun?
When I was fifteen, I got into the Android modding community. I learned everything about custom recovery and ROM flashing because I wanted to have the coolest phone in high school. The fear of bricking it only made it more exciting. I ended up with a phone that could kick others off Wi-Fi networks, get unlimited power-ups in Temple Run, and even run its own Linux instance. A year later, I managed to crack my own phone password by regaining root access, flashing a file manager in recovery, and deleting the file that stored the password. Why? Because I wanted to see if I could.
Fast forward. I bought a home server and used Docker to set up my own cloud with NGINX, Grafana, and WireGuard. I had no idea what I was doing, but that was the point. It was so much fun that I gave a talk about it at my Google Developer Groups chapter, which I co-organize, to encourage others to play with hard problems.
This site is my part of the Internet. I hope you enjoy it!
